Data we collect
None. CardQ does not collect, store on external servers, or transmit any personal or financial information.
All data you enter into the app — including card nicknames, credit limits, used balances, statement dates, and transaction notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Android’s local Room database. This data never leaves your device.
Data stored on your device
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
- Card nicknames and last 4 digits you choose to enter
- Credit limit and used balance amounts
- Statement and payment due dates
- Optional transaction notes
You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.
Permissions we request
CardQ requests the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send you payment due reminders. You can disable this at any time in Android Settings.
CardQ does not request access to your contacts, camera, location, SMS, microphone, or any other sensitive permissions.
Third-party services
CardQ does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no ads in the app.
Children’s privacy
CardQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Since no data is collected, changes would only occur if new features are added that change data handling.
